Random Drug & Alcohol (D&A) services:
How it works:
- HR and/or site representative contact Flex Health for an D&A Clinic.
- Flex Health’s operations team schedules the clinic on behalf of our client ensuring the relevant employee is tested within the allocated time for obtaining a result.
“For cause” drug & alcohol testing:
- Flex Health works with trusted partners to provide a 24/7 D&A clinic.
- Referrals should be made to Flex Health between 9 am and 5 pm from Monday to Friday.
- Outside of Flex Health’s operating hours, referrals can be made directly to our trusted partners.
“Train the trainer” services:
- Flex Health attends the relevant site and carries out our “train the trainer” course. This will enable nominated employees to carry out “for cause” drug and alcohol testing at that specific site in real time.
- Once a test has been conducted and an employee tests non-negative on a point of care sample, the nominated D & A tester conducts a second sample and this sample is sent straight to the lab for testing. the D & A results are delivered directly to for further action.
- This allows immediate drug and alcohol testing to be carried out on employees that are suspected of being under the influence.
