Gone are the days that Physiotherapy sessions are just for being shown what to do at home….. We design sessions to empower the patient- we get you working during the sessions.
Active treatment for patients with osteoarthritis has been shown to outperform passive treatment reducing pain and improving function.
Getting the patient to perform active exercises and increasing their workload resulting if physical effort, making them sweat and their muscles ache. When conducted under supervision from a qualified therapist twice a week for 6 to 8 weeks, it has been shown to significantly reduce pain and improve functionality.
